We’re strong believers in Ready, Fire, Aim. It’s an action-orientation that confidently asserts it’s better to act than delay. It’s better to learn than wait for perfection.
Planning paralysis is the opposite viewpoint. Planning paralysis is the perfectionist’s dream job – planning to perfection. It’s the focus on creating lovely documents, plans, and templates without the will and skill to act quickly.
Results come from having a strong foundation (Ready), acting quickly (Fire), and then adjusting based on results (Aim).
That’s why we believe Beta is Better than waiting for the final version.
Beta is the almost final version. It’s the version that says, “We have a strong foundation here, and we’re ready to start the action phase.”
Planning paralysis is a mistake among many mistakes that can occur if a principal is unaware of or mistakenly assess a school’s readiness for change (Read this post to find strategies for each stage of change).
Beta is Better in your work, and it’s also better at Principals’ Seminar.
We have a coming online learning experience for first-year principals. It’s for principals and admin teams wanting to jump start their prowess and peace of mind.
You have the job, and you’re ready to avoid the school of hard knocks. You’re ready to flatten the learning curve.
This is for you.
It’s in Beta, heck, we don’t even have the name down yet. We’re thinking about calling it the Principals’ 3 in 3 (find details here).
Or Principals’ Three In Three, which lends itself to Principals’ TNT.
Regardless of the name, it’s three years of experience packed into three weeks of learning!
We’ll share more details soon (See Update Below), but just know, we believe Beta is Better.
It’s better than planning paralysis.
It’s better than paying full price.
July 2020: We’ve since released the Beta version and currently upgraded it to the Betta (“Better”) version. Now, we’re working on tying the 3 in 3 to the Principals’ Club!
